Select the Landing Point is a music theme composed by the Konami Kukeiha Club for Contra III: The Alien Wars. It is the background theme that plays at the beginning of the two top-view stages, Stage 2, Destroyed Highway, and Stage 5, Sheer Cliff.

- This theme does not appear in the Game Boy port, Contra: The Alien Wars. The player starts the two top-view stages, Stage 2, Destroyed Highway, and Stage 5, Sheer Cliff, in fixed positions on both maps.
- This theme does not appear in the Game Boy Advance port, Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX, as both top-view stages were removed from that version of the game.
