Hell Messenger is a music theme originally composed by the Konami Kukeiha Club for Contra III: The Alien Wars. It is the background theme for Stage 5, Sheer Cliff.
In the Game Boy Advance port, Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX, the Sheer Cliff top-view stage was removed and in its place it borrowed the Big Battle stage from Contra: Hard Corps. However, instead of using the original background theme from that game, it retained "Hell Messenger" as its background theme.

- This theme does not appear in the Game Boy port, Contra: The Alien Wars. While the Sheer Cliff top-view stage does appear in this version of the game, it instead plays another remixed version of "Megalopolis" as its background theme.
