Gegebonne the Sacrophagous Head (腐食顔ゲゲボンヌ Fushoku-gao Gegebonnu?, lit. "Corroded Face Gegebonne") is the first miniboss in Neo Contra.
Description[]
Gegebonne is a giant alien mutant that first introduces itself by eating a would-be vehicular boss. It is a large humanoid/dinosaur-like hybrid creature bearing a single eye and featuring a big mouth made of three jaws and filled with fangs. Inside this mouth is a giant, baby-like, deformed head with fully developed human teeth and its face full of warts, bearing a smaller adult face on his forehead.
His attacks involve vomiting out a large cascade of acid, spewing out purple blobs that rain down on the battlefield and remain there for an extended period of time, and snotting out a myriad of alien wasps that give chase to the player.
Shoot him enough and he will fall into the hole he came from, which also happens to be the exit of that room.
