Other appearances[]
The iconic Waterfall stage has inspired many reappearances throughout the entire Contra series.
- The Laboratory stage in Contra 4 features a recreation of the iconic Waterfall stage halfway through the stage, even Including the same boss.
- Earlier demo builds of the game accurately labelled this stage as "Waterfall".
- A map from Contra: The Board Game is modelled after the Waterfall stage seen in Contra. In the board game's story mode, it is played as the second map in "Return to Galuga", or as the third map in "Escape from Galuga". The boss for this map is Garmakilma.
- The Waterfall stage was reimagined in Contra: Operation Galuga, once again appearing alongside another half of a stage.
