- Contra III: The Alien Wars, the fourth overall entry in the Contra series, which was first released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992.
- Contra: The Alien Wars, a simplified port of the game released on the Game Boy handheld system in 1994. It removes some content in order to accommodate to the hardware's limitations.
- Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX, another port of the game more faithful to the original, released on the Game Boy Advance handheld system in 2002. This version removes the two top-view levels from the original game and replaces them with levels from Contra: Hard Corps.
